Information to help parents in supporting their child with homework

This year we are continuing to develop our new approach to homework.

Children in the primary age range benefit most from collaborative learning. The discussion that surrounds a game or challenge is as beneficial as the final outcome. We have therefore devised maths and curriculum-wide activities that children can share with their parents in a fun and exciting way.

The children will be given maths activities on a half-termly basis in a homework folder or booklet. Any supporting resources that the children might need will be given out week by week.We will be issuing learning logs to Palm and Oak class with a weekly topic.
