We are pleased to announce that we have been accredited with a Healthy Schools Award an Activmark  for our sports work and have been commended for our environmental work by the national teaching award council. This is The DCSF Award for Sustainable Schools. We care passionately about the environment and nature and we hope to become an Eco-school in the near future.

This commendation reflects the work we do as a school community to care for and improve our environment.

We have a special Nature Group which children in Year 3 and 4 can choose to belong to. These children lead our environmental work and encourage everyone to be more environmentally friendly and aware. Many of our younger children already show concern for their world and enjoy working in the school gardens to grow flowers and vegetables.

We will be continually working on our environment and often need keen adults to hep us, so please look out for information coming home with your child about what you can do to help.
